What does Griddy do?: Griddy lets you snap windows to halves and quarters, resize them incrementally, center them, and arrange multiple windows into a customizable grid — all with keyboard shortcuts.
Is Griddy free?: Yes, Griddy is completely free to use.
What keyboard shortcuts does it support?: Griddy comes with sensible defaults (e.g. Ctrl+Option+Arrow to snap, Ctrl+Option+C to center), and every shortcut is fully customizable in Settings.
Does Griddy need Accessibility permissions?: Yes. Griddy needs Accessibility access to move and resize windows. It will prompt you on first launch, and you can grant it in System Settings > Privacy & Security > Accessibility.
Will it conflict with other window managers?: Griddy detects if another window manager (like Rectangle or Magnet) is running and warns you so you can avoid shortcut conflicts.
What macOS versions are supported?: Griddy requires macOS 14 (Sonoma) or later.
